It’s give-back time again.
There are more than 1,000 qualified nonprofit organizations on this year’s State Employees Combined Campaign, the state fundraising drive for national, statewide and local charities.
Last year, NC State was the top-giving institution among the UNC system schools, pledging more than $556,000 for the campaign with an employee participation rate of about 36 percent. This year, the university hopes to increase the participation rate to 40 percent.
For payroll deduction or credit card donations, you can make a pledge online. For cash or check donations, you must complete a paper form, which is available online or from your unit’s team captain.
Those who donate are eligible to win weekly prizes. Winners are announced on the Wolfpack Gives Back website.
