Symposium Highlights New Clusters

The Chancellor’s Office and Provost’s Office are sponsoring a symposium to introduce eight new faculty clusters, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, in the Talley Student Union Piedmont-Mountains Ballroom.

The event will include two panel presentations and a poster session showcasing the accomplishments of the first 12 clusters. Wayne Holden, president of RTI International, will give the keynote address on the importance of interdisciplinary research in bringing together academics and outside constituencies to solve society’s grand challenges.
