Harrelson Lecture Nominees Sought

The University Standing Committee on the Harrelson Fund is now soliciting nominations for the 2016 Harrelson Lecturer. The Harrelson Lecture, endowed in part by a bequest from the late Chancellor John W. Harrelson, is to be given by “a prominent individual, distinguished in scholarship or public life.”

Nominations may be made by any member(s) of the university community: faculty, students or staff. Speaker recommendations from other campus groups seeking co-sponsorship opportunities are also welcome. Nominations should include relevant biographical information about the nominee’s professional and public accomplishments.
