Check Out the Libraries’ Summer Workshops

Whether you want to learn to use a 3-D printer, clean or visualize your data, or try your hand at DJing, the Libraries offers a wealth of free workshops all summer long. Sign up for email updates and register for all workshops online. They will be offered in the following categories:

Hunt Library Closed Sunday, June 2

The Hunt Library will close at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, and re-open as usual on Monday, June 3, at 7 a.m. IT staff will be shutting down the high tech spaces and video walls in Hunt during the afternoon of Saturday, June 1, in preparation for these outages. It will take staff a few minutes to get all equipment back up and running at Hunt on Monday morning. Additionally, power will be cut off to Centennial Campus on Sunday, June 2. Chilled water and steam will be cut off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, and will be restored in the early hours on Sunday, June 2. This work is necessary to connect infrastructure to the new Fitts-Woolard Hall now under construction. Campus Facilities has more information about these infrastructure projects. The Hill Library will be open for its regularly scheduled summer-term hours.

It’s Time to Renew Your Parking Credentials for 2019-20

Faculty/staff permits will be available for purchase online beginning 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 4. Log in and choose “Order/Renew Permit/GoPass.” Parking privileges are assigned to your registered vehicles’ license plates. Remember to check information for all vehicles on your parking account. It is important that the license plate, make and model are correct. Your current permit and gate access, if applicable, will expire June 30. Once you complete your renewal, your new parking permissions will be active July 1. Learn more about parking on campus.
