Awards and Honors

Onboarding Manager Amy Grubbs has been selected to serve as chair of the Southern region board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources for the 2019-20 fiscal year. She will begin her term July 1. In addition to her service on the Southern region board, Grubbs also has served as president and treasurer of the association’s North Carolina chapter.

OIT Announces Summer Training Schedule

Interested in learning WordPress or brushing up on your Google Suite skills? NC State’s Office of Information and Technology is offering all sorts of summer courses for faculty and staff. Just log on to REPORTER with your Unity ID, and use the calendar or keyword search to find the courses you’d like to take.

Space Still Available in Crafts Center Classes

Want to tap into your artistic side this summer? Or just learn something new and fun? Spots are still open for a number of the summer classes and workshops at NC State’s Crafts Center. Check out classes in clay, glass, fiber, jewelry, photography and more.

TheatreFEST 2019 Tickets on Sale

This year’s University Theatre summer season will feature a classic Agatha Christie mystery/thriller, Go Back for Murder (May 30-June 16); Bright Star (June 13-23), a sweeping musical tale of love and redemption set in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains in the 1920s and ’40s, written and composed by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell; and the new TheatreFESTival (June 15), a behind-the-scenes event with hands-on activities, backstage tours, interviews with cast members, music, prizes, food and activities for children.
