University Statement

Today, April 17, 2024, the University Governance Committee of the UNC Board of Governors (BOG) voted to recommend to the full board the repeal and replacement of the UNC System’s existing policy and regulation on diversity, equity and inclusion. We are reviewing the proposed policy, which will go before the full BOG for a vote at their May meeting. If the new policy is approved, we expect to receive guidelines for implementation from the System Office.
