NC State Welcomes New Members to Board of Visitors

A shot of NC State's Belltower centered in front of a partly cloudy blue sky, with the Belltower partially obscured by green leafy trees and pink and white spring foliage. The shot is taken from underneath a brick awning, and one of the awning's brick columns dominates the frame to the right of the Belltower. A hanging lantern-style light can be seen near the center-top.

NC State’s Board of Visitors welcomes four new members who will begin their term this fall. Members of the board serve for a four-year term as important advocates for the university in achieving its educational purposes. The new members beginning fall 2024 are listed below, along with their brief biographies.

The 30-member Board of Visitors, appointed by the Chancellor, works to promote NC State’s reputation as a leader in higher education globally — and serves in an advisory capacity to the Chancellor and, by extension of that service, to the NC State Board of Trustees.

“NC State is proud to welcome these accomplished alumni who bring valuable experience and insights to our board,” said Chancellor Woodson. “I look forward to working with them as we continue to further the university’s excellence in teaching, research and scholarship.”
