Time for Wolfpack and Give

Next week students will pile up somewhere around 18,000 pounds of unwanted clothes, shoes, TVs, furniture, appliances and food as they prepare to leave campus for the summer. But rather than stuff it in dumpsters and clutter up the landfills, they’ll wisely drop it off at 13 donation sites around campus, cleverly called pack rat donation locations.

If you’re not a student but you are a pack rat, you’re in luck. Any member of the campus community can drop off items at the donation locations. Just use this handy map. Donations will be accepted from Monday, April 23, to Sunday, May 13.

The yearly program, called “Wolf Pack N Give,” is a collaborative effort of University Housing and the Waste Reduction and Recycling Office. This year, all donations will go to two local nonprofit organizations, the Green Chair Project and Dorcas Ministries.
