Web Conference on Digital Transition
Take part in a free Web conference offered by a project at the Friday Institute targeted at K-12 educators, administrators and education faculty. “One Size Does Not Fit All: Two Perspectives on Digital Transition” will be offered at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16.
This is the first in a series of Web conferences devoted to digital transition, and featuring two different school districts from across the nation. Join the conversation with Daryl Lagace, chief information and technology officer at the San Diego Unified School District, and Jill Reinhardt, director of secondary curriculum and instruction in the Surry County schools. They will share insights into the process of digital transition from developing a vision through planning, implementation and assessment. Web participants will have the opportunity to ask questions during the conference.
