Plan Now for Engagement Conference

The Office of Faculty Development says it’s already time to start thinking about the 2014 Engagement Scholarship Conference, which will be held in Edmonton, Canada this fall.

You have until Monday, March 17, to submit a proposal for the conference, “Engaging for Change: Changing for Engagement.” There’s also an open call for video clips of about three to five minutes highlighting an innovative practice in extension and engagement. The deadline for video submissions is Sunday, Aug. 31.

Conference registration begins in May. Mark your calendars for the conference, Oct. 7-8. A pre-conference workshop on Oct. 5-6, Emerging Engagement Scholars, is intended for early career faculty or advanced doctoral students interested in engagement.
