Associate Professor of English Huiling Ding has received the Nell Ann Pickett Award for her article, “Transcultural Risk Communication and Viral Discourses: Grassroots Movements to Manage Global Risks of H1N1 Flu Pandemic.” The award is given annually for the best article of the year in Technical Communication Quarterly.
