Central campus will be heavily impacted Thursday, Aug. 11, through Sunday, Aug. 14, as students move into residence halls ahead of the fall semester. The detail-oriented folks in NC State Transportation share the following information to make our lives somewhat less stressful.
Traffic
On Friday and Saturday, Cates Avenue will only accommodate one-way, westbound traffic between Morrill Drive and Dan Allen Drive. That’s basically from the Talley Student Union headed toward the Student Health Center.
Parking
Thursday through Sunday:
- No parking on Baver Drive
- No parking in the Student Services Lot (Harris Hall/Pullen Hall)
- No parking in Bragaw, Lee and Sullivan halls
Friday through Sunday:
- No parking on Cates Avenue between Talley and Dan Allen Drive
Friday and Saturday:
- 17 “C” parking spaces on Warren Carroll Drive reserved for students moving in
