Cave Wins Service Award

Bryan Cave, Cooperative Extension director in Surry County, is among the elite 2 percent of extension personnel who have received the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents.

The award recognizes agents with at least 10 years’ experience who have had an impact in their counties. Cave, a Surry County native, has worked with extension for 22 years and has been county director since 2007. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from NC State.
