Henderson Honored for Teaching

Dr. Karla Henderson, professor of parks, recreation and tourism management, won the Society of Park and Recreation Educators 2009 Excellence in Teaching Award, the highest teaching honor from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).

Students Receive Degrees At NC State’s Fall Commencement

North Carolina State University Chancellor James H. Woodward conferred 3,013 degrees on 2,881 graduating students when the university held its 2009 Fall Commencement on Saturday, Dec. 19, at the RBC Center in Raleigh. Candidates for degrees were from 89 North Carolina counties, 30 other states or U.S. territories and 35 foreign countries. NC State holds graduation…

NC State Announces Fall Dean’s List Students

North Carolina State University Chancellor James H. Woodward announced that 6,849 undergraduate students earned Dean’s List honors at NC State during the fall 2009 semester. NC State To Hold Commencement Ceremonies Dec. 19

North Carolina State University will confer more than 3,000 degrees on graduating students during its fall commencement exercises, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, in the RBC Center in Raleigh.
