Crosbie is an expert on Shakespeare and other dramatists of the English Renaissance. His research focuses on ethics and philosophy in Shakespearean drama; his teaching frequently centers on Shakespeare in performance, adaptations and retellings of Shakespeare, and the formation of community and the expression of shared values through stagings of Shakespeare’s plays.
