EPA to fund research into chemical exposure on brain developmentProcessing, Feb. 17, 2014.  According to the EPA’s Office of Research and Development, a total of over $3 million will be given to NC State, the University of Georgia, University of California and the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute for work on an extensive study into the impact of chemical exposure on various stages of development of the brain to help scientists understand the process and take effective measures to prevent damage.
