Holly Springs Teacher receives Kenan Fellowship

Holly Springs Teacher receives Kenan Fellowship, Holly Springs SunMay 20, 2012.  Mark Townley, Holly Springs High School science teacher, was one of eleven teachers to receive the Kenan Fellowship through the Kenan Institute at North Carolina State University. As a Kenan Fellow, Townley will spend this summer conducting research, which he will eventually present at a national conference. Working with Dr. Heike Sederoff, both will conduct research this summer on “Biofuels for Jets” because of a NASA Flight Fellowship as sponsor.
