In Suffolk, a harvest of new farming knowledge, Virginian-Pilot, Sept. 21, 2012.   About 130 people, including local growers and researchers, learned about field crop research at an annual pre-harvest field day. The event centered on tips for growers to maximize their yields on field crops such as peanuts, soybeans and cotton.
