New trail to expand N.C. Museum of Art park, News & Observer, July 19, 2012. The N.C. Museum of Art will expand its trail system next year, opening a paved one-mile loop with a trail that will lead to a new platform overlooking the museum’s pond. The platform, designed by students at N.C. State University, is under construction.
