Xie Recognized

Dr. Tao Xie, assistant professor of computer science, has been selected to receive the Sigma Xi Faculty Research Award.  He is the first recipient from the Department of Computer Science.

Sigma Xi was designed to recognize outstanding young researchers, and to encourage and reward excellence in scientific research.  Each year the NC State Chapter honors a talented young researcher.

The award was presented at the Sigma Xi initiation and awards banquet on April 27.
