Beasley Receives Research Award

The American Accounting Association honored professor Mark Beasley with its Distinguished Contributions to the Accounting Literature Award.

Beasley, Deloitte Professor of Enterprise Risk Management, was recognized for research about the relationship between board of director composition and financial statement fraud, originally published in The Accounting Review. He received the award at the association’s annual meeting in San Francisco earlier this month.
