Carroll to Serve on National HR Board
Barbara Carroll, associate vice chancellor and chief human resources officer, has been appointed to a three-year term on the board of directors of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR), beginning July 1.
As a member of the organization for 20 years, Carroll has served on national committees and task forces, presented conference sessions and contributed to publications for CUPA-HR, which serves 1,700 institutions and 12,000 HR professionals around the world.
Carroll, who has held her current position at NC State since 2004, has worked for a variety of higher education institutions, including Vanderbilt University, the University of Missouri, Swarthmore College and Georgia State University.
