SBP: June 2 – Cates Avenue Closed
Am I the only one that feels like time flies by during the summer? I hope that all students are enjoying their summer, whether it is actually a summer break, or if it involves a job, internship, or summer school!
NC State students are celebrating everywhere because Vista went offline yesterday! WolfWare is the new central resource for students to use when accessing class information, and WolfWare provides links to Moodle, where most class webpages will now be located. Hasta La Vista!
As of today, June 2, Cates Avenue is closed to through traffic between Dan Allen Drive and Morrill Drive. This is all part of the preparation for construction on the new Talley Student Center. Everyone should be prepared to use Western and or Hillsborough to travel from Dan Allen to Pullen Dr.
Speaking of the New Talley, the official groundbreaking ceremony is set for Tuesday, August 16th at noon and I hope all students are able to stop by and take part in this historical event.
The Student Government Traditions Commission and Student Media have been hard at work on this year’s version of The Brick. It went to print last week and all incoming students will receive one. We are very excited about this and will try to get a new version online after all new students receive one!
Speaking of traditions… Any students have ideas for what they want to gain from NC State’s 125th anniversary? We will be celebrating this in the next year, so email me your thoughts!
SPIRIT – PRIDE – TRADITION – WOLFPACK!
