The Wolfpack Gives Back

It’s time to join the Wolfpack Gives Back campaign, NC State’s annual outpouring of generosity that raises more than half a million dollars a year for hundreds of charities as part of the State Employees Combined Campaign. To make it even easier to give this year, the state campaign launched a new online giving site.

In a letter to campus, Chancellor Randy Woodson said the university hopes to increase participation from about a third of faculty and staff to 40 percent this year. He acknowledged that employees face tough economic times but said service is a hallmark of NC State.

“Let’s remind ourselves and our fellow North Carolinians that giving back is one of NC State’s greatest traditions,” he said.

Employees can visit the new online giving site to arrange a monthly payroll deduction or to use a credit card. To donate by cash or check you have to fill out a form and submit it to your unit’s team captain. You can search for charities at the state campaign site.
