Lose Big, Win Big

Feeling sluggish? Want to lose weight or become more fit? University Recreation can help with a new fitness challenge that offers Bulletin readers the chance to win one of two training packages, one for an individual the other for a department of up to 10 individuals. Winners will receive fitness assessments and personal training sessions courtesy of University Recreation. Qualifications apply:

Package 1

To enter for a chance to win package 1, individuals must be Carmichael Gym members, demonstrate a commitment to lose weight and become healthier, be willing to commit to nine weeks of physical training and be willing to try University Recreation programs including group fitness classes, WolfWheels bicycle rental program, and the Outdoor Adventure program.

Package 2

Package 2 recipients will earn weekly sessions for their department for four weeks. The group must show a commitment to change their lifestyles, be willing to commit to four weeks of training including group fitness classes, WolfWheels and the Outdoor Adventure program. The group is encouraged to be Carmichael Gym members.

Interested? Submit a letter of interest to Natalie Freeland, assistant director of fitness, nrfreela@ncsu.edu, stating why you or your department deserves this opportunity and how you plan on changing your lifestyle. All winners must agree to have their entries published in the Bulletin along with two follow-up features showing their progress. Winners will be announced in the Thursday, Dec. 20 edition of the Bulletin.
