Faculty Feedback Needed

Faculty members are invited to the Talley Student Center Ballroom 3–5 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, to learn more about and discuss the plan to strengthen critical and creative thinking in undergraduate education at NC State. The plan, part of the 2014 re-affirmation of accreditation by the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges Commission on Colleges, is called “I Think,” and is being developed by a faculty-led steering committee. Committee members will share the plan’s preliminary concept paper, answer questions and solicit feedback. The plan, initially targeted for first-year classes, will serve as the foundation for a longer-term effort to enhance critical and creative thinking in students at all levels at NC State.

Faculty involvement is welcome and encouraged; steering committee members say that feedback is important to the success of the plan.
