Outreach and Engagement Banquet on April 13

Provost Warwick Arden will be the keynote speaker on Monday, April 13, for the Outreach and Engagement awards banquet, as more than a dozen NC State faculty, staff and students will be honored for their dedicated work in extension, service and community involvement.

The banquet and ceremony is scheduled for 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the McKimmon Center.

Among the awards being presented are the Economic Development Partnership Award, the William L. Turner Award for Outstanding Contributions to Extension and Continuing Education, the Local Government Engagement Award, the Customized Corporate Education Award of Excellence, the Opal Mann Green Award, University Extension Seed Grant Recognition, Outstanding Extension Service Awards, the 2014 Presidential National Community Service Honor Roll and the Gen. Henry Hugh Shelton Award.

There is no admission to attend the awards ceremony, which will begin with a one-hour awards presentation and a one-hour hors d’oeuvres reception afterwards.
