Looking for some summertime culture? The University Theatre will present three productions over the next month that will fit the bill perfectly.
TheatreFest 2015 begins this weekend with “Born Yesterday” at the Timus Theatre at Frank Thompson Hall. Evening shows begin at 7:30 p.m. for Friday and Saturday and for June 3 and 6. A matinee begins at 2 p.m. on June 7.
The theatre will also present “Side by Side by Sondheim” on June 4-5, 13, 17-20, with a 2 p.m. matinee on June 21.
Finally, the theatre will present two shows of “Wait Until Dark” on June 18 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kennedy- McIlwee Theatre at Thompson Hall.
Tickets are available online and range from $16-18 for the general public and $5 for NC State students.
