DELTA Nabs Top Award at Media Festival

Although earning praise for their work is nothing new for the DELTA Video Communication Services team, John Gordon has secured the first-ever Golden Reel award at the Media Communications Association–International Media Festival.

Gordon, broadcast and emerging media manager, received the association’s highest honor in the editing category for the work he and his crew did for “The Ice Cream Makers,” a video shot in cooperation with NC State’s Department of Food Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences.

The MCA-I Media Festival annually honors films for their creativity and advancement in technical applications. Entries are reviewed by panels of industry professionals from across the country.

In addition to top honors, DELTA Video Communication Services garnered two Silver Reel and five Bronze Reel awards. Michael Castro and Bert French served as production assistants on several of the award-winning projects.
