Beginning Wednesday, June 8, NCSU Transportation began a summer project to restripe the lines in parking lots, decks and crosswalks across campus.
So if you see “No Parking” signs posted on campus, it’s likely that the lot is temporarily closed for striping or a short-term special event. All outdoor work of this nature is subject to delay due to weather.
The work began early Wednesday in the Coliseum Deck. Spaces will be reopened as soon as paint dries.
Areas scheduled for striping over the summer are:
- Coliseum Deck (work will be done incrementally, level-by-level).
- Library Storage Lot
- Main Campus Drive
- MRC Deck
- Poulton Deck
- Stinson Drive
- Sullivan Carriage Lot (in front of Sullivan Residence Hall)
- Yarbrough Drive
- West Dunn Lot
- Space numbers for all the pay lots
- Various crosswalks
