Wrapping Up Spring Semester

Dear students,

As the academic year draws to a close, I want to thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do to take care of yourselves and those around you. The past several months, our community came together in a powerful display of support for one another and explored ways to build up institutional safeguards for student mental health and well-being.

As you wrap up the spring semester, please know NC State is here to help with a network of resources designed to ensure your success.

As outlined by the Student Mental Health Task Force, several implementation teams have been charged with continuing the work started last November. Various support resources have been added across the university including embedded counselors in collegesfree telehealth therapy, reduced wait times for the Counseling Center and additional wellness days to our three-year academic calendar. Visit wellness.ncsu.edu/updates to read the latest progress and find resources and support however you need it.

I’d also like to take a moment to share more information on Feed the Pack’s recent move to North Hall. In recent months, North Hall has transformed into NC State’s new Pack Essentials Hub, a space dedicated to building and supporting our university community, especially those experiencing food, housing or financial insecurity.

Thank you to our Pack Essentials team and dedicated group of volunteers who ensured Feed the Pack opened for service on April 11 in its new location. More information on the Hub’s official launch in fall 2023 is coming soon.

Summer break is right around the corner, Wolfpack. Finish the semester strong and look ahead to all that is in store for you.
