North Carolina State University has announced the Park Scholars class for fall 2008. These prestigious awards are valued at about $59,000 for North Carolina residents and $107,000 for out-of-state students. NC State Police Department Takes Plunge for N.C. Special Olympics

The North Carolina State University Police Department will hold its third annual “Polar Plunge” to raise money for North Carolina  Special Olympics. Police officers and other plungers who have collected at least $50 in donations will jump into Lake Raleigh on NC State’s Centennial Campus at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2.
