Pair of cold-stunned turtles returned to ocean

Pair of cold-stunned turtles returned to ocean, Wilmington Star-News, Jan. 16, 2013. The N.C. Aquarium at Fort Fisher recently released two previously cold-stunned sea turtles into warmer and deeper Atlantic waters. The turtles were cared for by the aquarium’s staff and periodically checked by veterinarians from N.C. State University.
