Service NC State Exceeds Goals

More than 700 blood donors and 1,500 volunteers put NC State over the top during Service NC State last weekend.

A first-ever 500-pint blood drive with the Red Cross brought in 725 donors and collected 569 units of blood, said Mike Giancola, director of the Center for Student Leadership, Ethics and Public Service.

A total of 405,216 meals are on their way to Haiti, thanks to volunteers who took part in Stop Hunger Now Million Meal event.
