NC State Cancels Monday Evening Classes

North Carolina State University will continue normal operations (Status 5) until 5 p.m. on Monday.

As of 5 p.m. on Monday, NC State will begin operating under adverse weather Status 3:  “Classes canceled; the university is open but operating under adverse weather advisory.”

Classes starting at 5 p.m. or later this evening are canceled, and the university will operate under adverse weather advisory. Essential personnel must report to, or remain at, work as necessary. Non-essential personnel who are scheduled to work after 5 p.m. may determine for themselves if they can do so safely, must notify their supervisor if they will not report, and must make up any work time missed in accordance with the university’s adverse weather regulation (REG 04.20.7).

Weather conditions for Tuesday morning are being monitored to determine if an opening delay will be necessary.
