Smart Energy Forum Planned

The NC State Energy Council will host an open forum on campus 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, to inform university officials about opportunities for program development in energy fields that engage the university’s mission. The forum, titled Smart Grid and Smarter Buildings:  Development, Deployment, and Demonstration at NC State University, will be held in Monteith Auditorium.

Two panels will discuss the values of developing smart grid and smarter building capabilities; one targeted to the university and the other to partners on Centennial Campus and throughout the Triangle.

The product of the forum will be a white paper with recommendations for future action.
