Dr. Lisa Guion Jones Is Honored

Lisa Guion Jones, assistant dean for diversity, outreach and engagement, has been inducted into the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame. Jones, who earned her doctorate in adult and higher education from NC State, was noted for helping national and international extension educators acquire the skills they needed to design, implement and evaluate education programs. The International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame cites that Jones has “influenced the programming practices of extension educators worldwide,” and that her work has “sparked dialogue across the globe.” Read more.
