Once again NC State has ranked among the best colleges in the nation, according to Princeton Review, continuing what has become an annual tradition. 

NC State earned top-10 rankings on two of Princeton Review’s best-value lists. The university is No. 6 among schools that provide the best value for students with no demonstrated financial need. For best value overall among public schools, NC State comes in at No. 9. Both rankings are unchanged since last year.

Also unchanged from last year is NC State’s No. 15 ranking among the nation’s best public schools for internships. 

In addition, the university has placed on two of Princeton Review’s top-20 lists. NC State ranks at No. 10 in the nation for its athletics facilities and No. 11 for its alumni network (among public schools), according to the rankings organization.  

Princeton Review’s overall best-value ranking is based on a return-on-investment rating that includes data on starting and midcareer salaries, academic selectivity, admissions statistics, financial aid and cost of attendance. The best-value ranking for students with no demonstrated financial need is based on the same information with the exception of data on need-based aid. The rankings for internships, athletics facilities and alumni network are based on students’ responses to surveys administered by Princeton Review.
