Green500 Pioneer to Accelerate Mini-Drone Program, HPCWire, Feb. 12. 2013. The Air Force is providing Wu Feng , computer science professor at Virginia Tech, and his team of computer scientists, engineers and mathematicians from Virginia Tech and NC State University with $3.5 million in funding to reduce the time it takes to simulate the aerodynamics of mini drones, micro air vehicles (MAVs) in military parlance.
