NC State names 44 Park Scholars; 7 are from the Triangle, News & Observer, May 3, 2013. NC State University on Friday announced the names of 44 Park Scholarship recipients for study starting this fall. The awards were established in 1996 and named for the late Roy Park, a 1931 NCSU alumnus who founded the charitable Park Foundation.
