NCSU scholarship honors Newtown child, WRAL, Dec. 16, 2013. NC State’s College of Veterinary Medicine has created a scholarship in honor of 6-year old Charlotte Baccon, one of the children who died on Dec. 14, 2012 during the shooting rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
