Re-Designed N.C. Birding Trail Website Unveiled, Outdoor Wire, July 2, 2013. The N.C. Birding Trail launched in 2005 as a way to connect people to birds and bird habitats. The NC Birding Trail is a partnership between the Commission and NC State Parks, the NC State Extension Service, the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
