New Treasurer Joins NC State

Mary Peloquin-Dodd joins NC State on Friday as the new treasurer and associate vice chancellor for finance and business. She will have oversight of Foundations Accounting & Investments, the Real Estate Office, Materials Management, the Cashier’s Office and Strategic Debt Management.

Peloquin-Dodd has 20 years’ experience in higher education finance. She formerly worked as a managing director for Standard & Poor’s in New York, where she determined domestic bond and credit ratings for educational institutions and not-for-profit corporations. She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Peloquin-Dodd replaces retiring Treasurer Kathy Hart.

Charles D. Leffler, vice chancellor for finance and business, acknowledged the efforts of the nominating committee for its assistance in the search process. The committee was chaired by Nevin Kessler, vice chancellor for university advancement.
