IT Leader to Speak

Bradley Wheeler, chief information officer at Indiana University, will speak on the future of information technology in higher education 9–10:30 a.m. Monday, April 29, in the Hunt Library auditorium. The presentation is a part of the new university  IT strategic planning now underway on campus.

Wheeler currently leads university-wide IT services for IU’s eight campuses, and has co-founded and led some of higher education’s most innovative software and service collaborations, such as the Sakai Project for teaching and learning software, Kuali for financial and other administrative systems, and the HathiTrust for digital copies of scanned books as part of the Google Book Project. He is also a professor of information systems in IU’s Kelley School of Business.
