The Rolling Stones’ Zip Code tour is coming to 27607.

Stones tongue-embedThat’s the mailing address for NC State’s Carter-Finley Stadium, which will host the Stones’ fourth Raleigh appearance on Wednesday, July 1, at 7 p.m. It’s one of 15 stops on the iconic rock band’s 2015 North American stadium tour.

Mick Jagger and company first played on NC State’s campus nearly 50 years ago on Nov. 10, 1965, at Reynolds Coliseum on the Stones’ second American tour. They previously played at Carter-Finley Stadium on Sept. 16, 1989, and Sept. 7, 1994.

“They like playing here and wanted to come back,” says Allen Corbett, the Carolinas/Mid-Atlantic vice president at AEG Live, which is presenting the show. “They haven’t been here in 20 years and decided it was time to return.”

Tickets for the general public, which range in price from $59.50 to $350, go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, April 13. American Express cardholders can purchase tickets through a presale event that runs April 8-12. Tickets are available at rollingstones.com, ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets and the PNC Arena box office.

This is the first concert at Carter-Finley since U2 played there on Oct. 3, 2009. The Stones’ stage will be in the north end zone, as it was for their previous two concerts in the stadium, and capacity for the event will be approximately 40,000.
