NC State’s Green Football Results

Volunteers Ruby Haskins (left) and Lynn Odom (right) sort waste for composting during a Nov. 21 NC State football game.

Multiple campus partners came together to create NC State football’s first zero-waste home season at Carter-Finley Stadium.

The unique program, featured prominently in the Wall Street Journal earlier in the fall, was a joint venture between the College of Natural Resources, athletics, Campus Enterprises, University Dining, the Office of Sustainability and the Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling.

See how the program fared, in this story from CNR.
