Update on Leadership Searches

The Provost’s Office says NC State is making progress in filling leadership positions in the College of Education, College of Design and Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity. Here’s the official update:

DEAN, COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

Nomination committee chair: Maureen Grasso, dean, Graduate School

Status: There’s been a high level of interest in this position and the committee has a large pool of applicants from which to select. The committee is beginning to review candidates, with the goal of hosting finalist candidates on campus the weeks of Feb. 15 and 22.

DEAN, COLLEGE OF DESIGN

Nomination committee chair: Jeff Braden, dean, College of Humanities and Social Sciences

Status: The committee is actively recruiting candidates, with the goal of hosting finalist candidates on campus tentatively the weeks of March 28 and April 4.  The committee encourages you to take part in the process by suggesting nominations of individuals who might be appropriate for the opportunity. VICE PROVOST, INSTITUTIONAL EQUITY AND DIVERSITY
