The faculty, staff and students of the NC State European Center in Prague, Czechia, are heartbroken by today’s events at our valued academic partner, Charles University, located about a mile from our campus.
All NC State and UNC-Chapel Hill students who were enrolled at the European Center this fall, along with all faculty and staff, have been safely accounted for. Additional students directly enrolled at partner universities in Prague are also safe.
NC State Prague’s fall semester classes ended last week and most students have returned to the United States. Those students who are continuing their studies in Prague are in contact with the study abroad office and are receiving support.
