Jaeger Wins Graduate Mentoring Award
Education professor Audrey Jaeger will be honored with a national award for inspiring and mentoring graduate students.
NASPA, an association of student affairs administrators in higher education, selected Jaeger for its Robert H. Shaffer Award for Academic Excellence as a Graduate Faculty Member.
Jaeger, an alumni distinguished graduate professor, has advised 22 doctoral graduates and co-authored dozens of publications and presentations with students and former students. She frequently supervises independent studies and internships.
Jaeger’s research focuses on higher education issues such as college completion, access to graduate school and the educational climate and learning environment. She is the associate editor of Research in Higher Education.
She will be recognized in March at the NASPA conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
