COLUMN: Former student makes his mark as an educator, Hickory Daily Record, Aug. 1, 2013. Today’s column is part of a continuing series on “where are they now,” featuring students from St. Stephens High School. Dale Campbell was a student at St. Stephens who enjoyed working on the school newspaper, The Torch. He moved back to North Carolina to become an assistant professor and coordinator in the community college educational program at North Carolina State University, 1982-87.
